Friday, June 15, 2018 started with a Skippers Meeting at 8 am. Principal Race Officer introduced Offshore Course and as the wind was strong and steady enough, the RC and fleet headed out to the water to have a first warning signal at 11 am.
ORC A class fleet of 18 boats was the first class to start at 10.05 to the course of about 60 nM followed by the ORC B class with 20 boats and then 3 Multihulls.
Southwesterly wind was blowing 15-20 knots and after rounding upwind mark, the fleet headed downwind to the Aegna island west spar buoy. At the same time ORC C class of boats started from Helsinki towards Tallinn.

Dear sailors! There is a Reval Cafe pop-up café in the Kalev Yacht Club marina, so you can have your breakfast right there. Different salads, pies, cakes, sandwiches are available. And of course coffee and drinks.

Baltic Offshore Week 2018 has been declared open during the Opening Ceremony what took place on Thursday, June 14 at 6 pm in Kalev Yacht Club harbour. The Commodore of the Kalev Yacht Club, Kalev Vapper welcomed all sailors in Tallinn and wished then fair winds and great sportsmanship during the regatta.
