The start was given at 11am to round the windward mark after 1 nm where the fleet hoisted their spinnakers and headed towards Aegna island and the furthermost mark, which for both classes was Tallinn Shoal Lighthouse from where they returned towards Tallinn until Keskmadala E buoy, from where Class A made a U-turn to round Uusmadala E-buoy to prolong their course by 10nm. The rest of the rounding marks where set already on the way to Tallinn, while the last to round was Katarina Quay E before finish. The forecast was pretty accurate about the weather and estimated time of the first finishers. As it was forecast, it started to rain at 11 am and entire course was sailed in rain.

In class A the stronger winds favoured also smaller boats in the group. 2021 ORC C class World Champion ๐™ˆ๐™–๐™ฉ๐™ž๐™ก๐™™๐™– 4 (J-112E) with Juss Ojala at the helm was happy with the day saying that lots of downwind on the course gave them some advantage ahead of bigger X-41 boats, who were ahead of ๐™ˆ๐™–๐™ฉ๐™ž๐™ก๐™™๐™– 4 on Day One. The boat speed up to 11-12 knots was good enough to cross the finish line physically among the first boats in the group. Current overall leader ๐™Š๐™ก๐™ฎ๐™ข๐™ฅ๐™ž๐™˜ (X-41 mod) of Tiit Vihul took the second place today, 4 min 30 sec in corrected time behind. Just 14 seconds separated ๐™๐™ค๐™ง๐™ฉ๐™š (X-41) with Jaak Jรตgi at the helm from the second place.
